The Trouble and Bass crew has to be one of my all time favorite heavy bass syndicates out there. Today I was listening to a few Fred Falke tracks after hearing one of his new remixes on KCRW earlier in the week; for those of you who dont know, Fred Falke is a French poducer known for his synthy-house driven disco tunes. I stumbled on this track right here originally produced by Citylife but remixed by Fred. I dont know how long I've had this song in my library but Im guessing quite a while since I havent got any of his remixes in some time. Even if I didn't go to high school with these cats (I'm one biased motherfucker accept it) or go to many of their early shows, I still think I would of picked up on them. Eventually. Long Beach natives like myself, they sound new, Avi can actually sing, lyrics are always good, and they have girls in the band who can hold their own. They'll be playing today at the Busker Festival here in Long Beach for free along with the Cold War Kids and 60 Watt Kid. I will definitely be out there because I keep it real, I blog for the hipster pussy.
